So.....here's what I think .....

I always have my favorites at Salone - things I never get tired of seeing.....so here's my list:

Anything Kartell related
Anything Moroso related
Anything Moooi related
Anything Tom Dixon related
Anything Alessi related

What am I looking forward to day by day:

April 15th - Press preview at Triennale for Kartell, Canon, Cassina (Viale Alemagna 6) - party is next night and you can go all week.
Press preview - La Cucina Alessi - after all - it is the year of the kitchen! Via Torona 27 - Super Studio Piu
At Zona Tortona will be a new company, Meta - will check it out. And a bunch of stuff - from Spain Playtime, Materialise (with items by Patrick Jouin), Jacob Peres' Grand Donois....Venini store opening at Via Monte Napoleone 9.
April 16th - going to the Salone all day I hope! Love the displays and who you meet in the aisles.
Will check out Artek at Marimekko in the afternoon - Viale Francesco Crispi 3; also Joost & Kiki - Via Voghera 11; DeisgnersBlock - Via Giovanni Segantini 6. Looking forward Kartell Temporary Museum at night - Via Turati Ang C Porta...........something Panasonic at the Il Piccolo Via Tessa 1...Artemide at 7 p.m. at Corso Monteforte......and got a bunch of private parties - that I'm really looking forward to ...but can't divulge.
April 17th - Furo Japanese Bath Exhibition - Spazio Corso Como 9 (and a brief stop at 10 Corso Como!); Kasthall cocktails - Via dell'Orso 9;
April 18th - Chciago Antheaneum and Delicious Architecture - Fondazion Riccardo Catella; Jaime Hayon, Lladro and Camper (???) - Spazio Rossanna Olandi
Anytime you can get to see Design Academy Eindhoven - DO IT! also at Spazio Rossana Olandi.

And THE FOOD! So, I will try to blog while I'm there...and take tons of pictures. There's so much this year - will keep you posted! Ciao!

Good of you to note Spazio Rosanna Orlandi which is one of the most unique design stores in Milan and often overlooked. It's a little tricky to find, so here's the address: Via Matteo Badello 14/16 20123 Milano. Rob Forbes
